I finally finished the first child-sized needle-felted gnome doll! Her name is Primrose (she's based on the same books as the others) and she is Toby's granddaughter. She will appear in the "Autumn" section of the diorama, along with Toby, where she will be picking some mushrooms.Primrose stands five inches tall (including the mushroom hat), weighs one ounce and tood about thirty hours to complete. She is solid wool felted with a size 40 and 42 felting needle (with an occasional poke from a size 36!).
